Salary
LKR 200,000Responsibility
- Data Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize the data infrastructure, automate processes, and deliver insightful reports to the management team.
- Report Preparation: Use SQL to prepare accurate and detailed reports for the management/Finance team.
- BI Tool Implementation: Lead the research and adaptation of a new Business Intelligence (BI) tool (AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or others) to meet the company’s BI requirements.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks using Python to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and management to understand data needs and provide accurate and timely insights.
- Support: Provide support to DEV and SysOps teams in troubleshooting issues and learning about system domains, functionalities, and other relevant technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with production databases and systems for extracting accurate data reports.
- Experience with BI tools (AWS QuickSight or Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Python and Bash scripts for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with Flask framework, API management, and different database engines.
